Today was our first day following up our 2023 projects onsite in South Vietnam. And what a day!
We started by visiting the Vi Nhân school in Buôn Ma Thuôt (Thao’s birthplace 🙂). This school welcomes around 200 blind or deaf mute children . Thanks to your help, they received a new washing machine, around 15 new school desks and seats, and various other school supplies. They prepared a beautiful show to thank you (see the video below, hoping you enjoy)!
Later in the afternoon, we also visited Gia Dình Bình Minh, a small center that hosts around 40 children with Down syndrome or autism. Our donations paid for several shelves with educational games and books, and 2 new bikes!
We finished the day by visiting Nhà Sac Tôc Têrêsa, a living center for minority children. They used to live in the countryside, didn’t go to school, and most of them didn’t speak Vietnamese. They received a large TV (helpful to learn Vietnamese!), 1800 notebooks and 20 millions dông in scholarships (around $850).
As you can see in the pictures we are helped by many local friends who volunteer their time to organize and support all these initiatives onsite. We spent a wonderful day surrounded by the children and educative teams in those centers. They are doing an amazing job with so much joy and positivity all around!
Journée bien remplie en effet! Que de beaux projets
