As we come close to the end of 2025, we are happy to share that almost all of our projects for the year—representing a total investment of USD 31,000—have now been completed. This year, 12 new houses were built for 12 families in Đồng Tháp, An Giang, and Cà Mau, giving them safer and more dignified living conditions. We also almost completed two new bridges to connect isolated villages in the Mekong Delta. This brings the total number of bridges built over the past three years to five. A very special thank you goes to the Zaller family, who generously funded four of these bridges. Education remains our top priority, especially for children. At the Kim Phước residential center in Kon Tum, we were able to provide two new computers, tables and chairs for several classrooms, books and school supplies, a television, and scholarships. We also continue to offer online English lessons thanks to our dedicated volunteer tutors. Another highlight this year is the construction and inauguration of ...
Once again, our Spring Fundraising Party on March 15, 2025, was a wonderful success — and it’s all thanks to you! Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we were able to raise $18,000 — enough to make many beautiful projects possible in Vietnam. We will be able to build a new bridge in Cà Mau — the fourth one already — to replace an old, unsafe bridge, thanks to the Zaller family again for their incredible support. We will also bring new life and color to a run-down school with a well-deserved fresh coat of paint. Three computers will be donated to the Kim Phuoc Center in Kon Tum to help children follow their online English classes — a program that keeps growing, now reaching even younger students in primary school — and to support them in their schoolwork and research. In Đồng Tháp, ten additional houses will be built for families in need, bringing the total number of homes we’ve built so far to 60, thanks to your support. Finally, we will be able to provide furniture and school sup...
We have just completed the final part of our visit to Vietnam. A third bridge has been built in Cà Mau, connecting two hamlets and making life easier for 1,000 people. The villagers are delighted to be able to cross easily to visit family, see friends, go to school, or do their grocery shopping. This bridge exists today thanks to all your purchases of bread prepared by Thao in 2024. Additionally, five new houses have been built and given to families in need—three in Đồng Tháp and two in Cà Mau. A huge thank you to Tom, Lara, and Soraya for your donations! Finally, we visited a primary school with 350 students in a very precarious condition. Every time it rains heavily, the courtyard becomes flooded, forcing the children to walk through water. Moreover, the doors and windows of the buildings, extremely worn and rusted, urgently need renovation. For this school and many other upcoming projects, we are counting on your support at our fundraising evening on March 15 at our place. Your pres...
We are happy to share news about our visit to Vietnam. Thanks to the funds raised in 2024 from your purchases of bread, desserts, and other donations, we were able to build and equip a 6,500 square feet playground at the Kim Phuoc boarding center in Kon Tum. The children’s joy is palpable. They can finally blow off steam after school and play like any other children their age. We were also able to provide equipment for the playground: markings on the ground for soccer and basketball, basketball hoops, nets, badminton equipment, slides, swings, and other gymnastics equipment. We are also very pleased with the results of the online English classes offered by some of you (Soraya, Mai Anh, Jiaxing, Valérie, Karine, Clara, Dan & Christophe). Additionally, the coaching sessions on motivation and health education were considered very useful by the children. We would also like to warmly thank the sisters and children of the center for their exceptional hospitality. Their kindness and enthu...
